I was booked recently to narrate a new audiobook thanks to the good folks at Nashville Audio Productions. I’ve been preparing for the studio. I prefer to read the book in its entirety before going into the vocal booth, especially with fiction. I’m reading Jasper: the long way home by Jeb McWilliam. In it, a NASCAR driver struggles with addiction, and a Nashville singer is struggling with all that comes with fame, musically.

I know Nashville and I know singers, but NASCAR is a stretch for me. It’s been fun learning more about that subculture of racers, mechanics, and fans.
