One my favorite family traditions occurred last May when we camped at Fall Creek Falls State Park in Spencer, TN. I’ve written about this trip before (here, here, and here) and I had a great time once again.

The trip has become more difficult for Lara. The steps going into our rented RV and walking up and down the hill to the common meal site proved difficult. We will need to make additional accommodations if we continue to do this. Do you have any ideas about this? Leave me a comment below.

We haven’t done everything right as a family. But in hindsight, this annual trip has been one of our better choices. Many of the young adults pictured here were doing this with us as kids. Now some of them are bringing their own children. This is a great tradition with beautiful friends and one of my favorite places in Tennessee.

I had the opportunity to spend a morning hiking the gentle one-mile Woodland Trail. I practiced my gimbal and iPhone camera skills along the way to produce this two-minute video.
